The Hound of the Baskervilles. The Valley of Fear

In «The Hound of the Baskervilles», everything begins with a request to protect the new heir of the family, around whom rumors, troubling coincidences, and very real dangers are gathering. The detective takes on the case, while Dr. Watson heads closer to the scene to observe the people, their habits, minor oddities, and what happens in the marshes after darkness falls. In «The Valley of Fear», the focus is on a murder at the Berliston estate. The investigation leads the heroes to the victim's past, and a private crime gradually connects with a larger network of violence and organized crime.
