In the second part of «Two Lives», a significant place is occupied by the story of the older brother of the main character and his wife Nal after their escape from a Central Asian city. Around them, a circle of friends, helpers, and people on whom their further path depends is formed. The plot is built on the clash of good and evil, on intrigues, danger, loyalty, and love. Against this backdrop, Concordia Antanova introduces themes of human spiritual evolution and the connection between actions and inner state. The novel belongs to esoteric and philosophical prose with a mystical foundation. The book features ideas of theosophy, Living Ethics, and Eastern philosophy. These themes are presented not in the form of dry exposition, but through the fates of the characters, their decisions, and trials.
