Ride, Artemis!

Thirteen-year-old Cynthia Brooks dreams of a bright future, but in her home state with a demanding mother and a jealous younger sister, her dreams seem unattainable. Everything changes one day when Cynthia receives a scholarship and enrolls in the prestigious Berkeley Academy in England, where she will be training in show jumping. But it turns out that the academy is not welcoming to a girl from a modest American family, and her talent becomes a source of envy.
