Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin (1799-1837) is a classic of Russian literature, who laid the foundations of the Russian realistic movement, a poet, prose writer, and playwright. For his creative achievements, the writer was already called a genius during his lifetime. Gogol wrote: "Pushkin is an extraordinary phenomenon and perhaps the only phenomenon of the Russian spirit: this is the Russian person in his development, as he may appear in two hundred years." Many literary scholars also recognize Pushkin's significant contribution to the creation of the modern Russian literary language. However, more than anything, researchers note his unstoppable, bold nature. Veresaev wrote about him as an "inexpressibly attractive and enchanting person - a living person!" The first volume of Pushkin's collected works includes poems written between 1813 and 1830. The second volume contains poems written between 1831 and 1836. The third volume includes "Eugene Onegin," as well as the dramatic works "Boris Godunov," "The Miserly Knight," "Mozart and Salieri," "The Stone Guest," "A Feast During the Plague." The fourth volume includes novels, stories, and fairy tales.
