In the City of November

The book "In the City of November" – selected poems by Tatiana Voltzkaya over 10 years: from 2015 to 2025. The book is arranged not by the poetry collections published in those years, but by year, in chronological order, thus resembling a poetic diary, albeit heavily condensed – where all secondary elements are discarded. This is why there are no thematic sections here, and so-called civic lyrics blend with love and philosophical poetry – the flow of verses is unbroken, like life, where on the same day we work, love, walk with children, clean the apartment, go to a rally, experience joy, sorrow, fear, or fatigue. Tatiana Voltzkaya's poems do not follow any fashionable trends; they feature direct speech and direct emotion, which the author transforms into art to a certain extent.
