Thorny Path

In a land of thickets, golden fields, and rivers, a land steeped in the spirit of Cossackry and freedom, there stands the village of Ternovka, where the healer Akulina lives, who wards off the malevolent spirits in spring, helps the drowned find peace, saves children from the wind spirits, lays the undead to rest, and drives human grief to the outskirts.
Yet sometimes in Ternovka, good turns into evil, and the sick and gloomy people welcome the unclean forces, for they sometimes bring good and relieve suffering.
