Mass Grave. Elegy

The novella "Mass Grave" is the prose debut of poet-soldier Amir Sabirov. Stylistically sophisticated, woven from portraits and moods, the text operates on various levels—from a deep psychological portrayal of a young man discovering the mechanisms and metaphysics of war, to the fixation of transitional states between life and death.
