This audacious and incredibly brutal crime was an absolute shock to the country. Especially since everything happened on a remarkable evening in a very crowded place. The Lantern Festival, a Christmas fair, a touching performance by a famous opera singer at the King Sejong Cultural Center… It was the concertgoers who, upon exiting the hall, discovered something horrifying: a blue Bible case, and inside it, on dry ice – a severed part of a male reproductive organ… While the police unsuccessfully tried to identify the victim and find any slightest clue about the perpetrator among the evidence at the crime scene, a similar crime was committed: this time, severed parts were found in a coffee cup at a shopping mall.
