Flame of the Starry Roads

«The last cursed poet, I am a hundred years late» – sounds a bit pretentious, but I really feel the kinship of my work with the poetry of John Milton, Lord Byron, as well as with the verses of Charles Baudelaire, Arthur Rimbaud, and other poets. I write poetry in the genre of Dark Romanticism. I consider myself a successor of this tradition of «cursed poets» and I call myself that, even though I live in a completely different time.

For me, Dark Romanticism is a special vision of the world, a kind of fifth… no, probably, Primordial element. After all, Darkness is primordial, while Romanticism and Romance are not only styles in art but also a particular way of perception. Its invisible paths, like thin rays of a secret luminary, intertwine all my creativity.
