The Teenager in Each of Us. The Transition Age in Children and Adults

The book discusses the development of personality from ages 11 to 18 and typical adolescent problems: the search for one’s own "self," the choice of negative role models to emulate, the avoidance of close relationships with parents, the inability to concentrate on important tasks and plan one’s time - and ways to solve them.

The second theme of the book, which is inseparably linked to the first, is the teenager in each of us. How an adult can overcome stagnation in adolescence, stop transferring childhood grievances onto family members - spouses, children - separate from the parental family, become autonomous and responsible, that is, truly an adult personality.
