Snowfinches. Our Yard

The publication includes the novels in stories "Snowfinches" and "Our Yard", which make up a conditional dilogy about mysterious beings, special creatures that are always nearby - in the village hut, in the summer cottage, and in the urban high-rise. Everyone has neighbors. Some live behind the wall, while others live within the walls. And also in basements and attics, in the forest and in the field, in the scorching noon sun and in the cool river water. They have always lived side by side with us, and once people knew how to communicate with them, whom to leave milk and bread in a secluded corner, and from whom to stick a needle over the door, larger, so that they couldn't enter the house. Over time, the rituals were forgotten, the spells faded from memory, and the otherworldly neighbors remained. And it is better not to attract their attention, because no one knows what it might lead to…
