About the Little Shoes

Two little shoes – left and right – grew tired of standing in the corner idly and set out to find suitable legs to run and jump together. On their way, they meet a table, a striped cat, a cow, a snake, a duck, and a sparrow – and each has their own reason to refuse the new shoes.

A kind fairy tale by Sofia Prokofyeva with lively illustrations by Alexey Barsukov – it's a small journey about how important it is to find your own place. The little shoes with bead-like eyes look at the world with curiosity, and the little ones learn about domestic and wild animals alongside them, remembering who has paws, hooves, wings, or fins.
