This book collects short Russian folk songs where the main character is a cheerful rooster. The texts are presented in the classic arrangements of P. Bessonov, V. Dal, and K. Ushinsky, while the lively, warm illustrations are drawn by artist Alexey Barsukov. The die-cut pages turn the book into a small carved house – it is pleasant to hold in hands even for the smallest ones.
