Easy Mountains

The most difficult thing is easy. It is so hard to love easily, to forgive easily, to believe easily... The girl Dinka was adopted. From the orphanage, she ended up in the Easy Mountains, a small village among the big, majestic mountains. There, the pines, like giant brothers, surrounded Dinka and her new family: the kind Yuras, the talented Zhenya, the tender mother Katya, aunt Sveta, uncle Sasha, and uncle Petya. And their elder was grandmother Tasya, who herself was like a little pine—thin, dry, but strong and full of love, which helped her live a difficult life and assists all her children and grandchildren.
The strength and wisdom that the mountains and grandmother Tasya teach will help Dinka forgive her dad Seryozha, Zhenya believe in her creativity, aunt Sveta dare to be happy, and Yuras accept his mother's happiness. It is so easy and so difficult—to simply love. But once you learn, you never forget.

In the drawings by artist Anastasia Serpreki, the rustling of the pines, the wind in Dinka's hair, the splash of water in the forest lake, and, most importantly, the kindness of the majestic land and its inhabitants became real.
