African Tales. The Antelope and the Turtle

Africa — a huge continent inhabited by one and a half billion people. It is here that the first humans appeared, whose descendants populated our planet. Each African nation and tribe has its own magical tales. Reading them, one can hear the rhythm of Africa's heart and visit its vast savannas and tropical forests. Lions, turtles, mongooses, bats, and parrots live in African tales side by side with humans. They compete with each other, come to help, quarrel, make peace, and show resourcefulness — just like our foxes, hares, bears, and wolves.
