Sasha Karpova receives a mysterious letter with an appointment for a meeting at the café "Canaletto" and unexpectedly finds herself drawn into a chain of terrifying events. Instead of answers about her past, she discovers a murdered stranger with the same mysterious letter.

During the investigation, Sasha learns that her childhood, her beloved old book, and her vanished memories are connected to an ancient secret intertwined with kidnapped children, the demonic Nibras, and the Pied Piper returned from oblivion.
