When 12-year-old Lowell moves to a new village and cannot fit into his class, strange 'teenage' changes start happening to him: his hair grows longer, his voice becomes deeper, and his mood is unpredictable. Lowell thinks these are just normal changes related to growing up. But one night on a full moon, after a very bad day at school, he turns into a werewolf in front of his twin sister Liz. Trying to return to normal life, Lowell finds himself at monster support group meetings — and step by step comes to accept himself as he is.
