The Second Quarter

A new collection of stories from the lives of restless first graders, written by Nina Pavlova, a finalist for the Chukovsky Prize, and illustrated by Andrey Krysov, a diploma winner of the "Image of the Book" award.

The first quarter passed unnoticed, and now the second quarter is already in full swing, where Rita and her inexhaustible classmates are waiting for even more adventures. In the second quarter, a new student – Valerka – appears in their class. The kids quickly bring him up to speed, and then together they choose a new school principal, sculpt a snowy sphinx, prepare for the New Year’s performance, and accidentally discover a foreign spy in the park.
