Universal Reader: 4th Grade

The Universal Reader is compiled in accordance with the requirements of the new generation State Educational Standard and can be used with all major textbooks on literary reading recommended by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. The book includes works of oral folk art, fairy tales by Russian and foreign authors, poems, and prose by domestic classics. In addition, the reader contains brief biographical information and interesting facts about beloved children's writers. The reader develops and reinforces skills in working with text, helps improve reading technique, and contributes to the literary and creative development of students. The publication is intended for preparation for reading lessons.
