Selfie with Fate

In the shop "National Crafts" in the village of Sokólnichye, a wealthy lady has been found strangled. She often visited the village, generously donated to the restoration of the bell tower, and was well-respected. The perpetrator – a drunken wanderer nearby – has been apprehended on the spot… Professor Ilya Subbotin arrives in the village to uncover the truth. The physics teacher has a strange hobby – he solves crimes. All hope is on him, for no one else will dig deeper, the case is closed. A strange company gathers around Ilya in Sokólnichye: a poetess with dreadlocks; a sad beauty in furs; a cheerful couple busy posting selfies on the Internet; a tour guide; an eccentric guy who clearly has something to hide; and a polished-looking gentleman. One of them killed the respected lady. But who? And why?..
