Center for Acceptance and Adaptation

The city lives under the Dome, trying to preserve the usual. In the building of a former hotel, a Center operates where they teach how to breathe when there's nothing left, and how to speak when there are no words left. Alice comes here to remember a dream in which humanity is still capable of correcting everything. Consultant Margo maintains professional distance but feels that she herself needs support. Fyodor and Theo share one body and cannot agree on how to live the remaining time. The mayor, a person with good intentions, fears his own awkwardness and the touch of others.


The familiar yet incomprehensible idea that life and death are reversible and inseparable has perhaps first manifested in a book almost literally. To understand this, one must read to the end.
