The Disconnect

Ambroise Mathieu discovers with horror that he has forgotten his own name. For many years, he feared old age, frailty, and now fate has played a cruel joke on him.

The hero doesn't even suspect what he now has to fight against: his changing mind, the misunderstanding of those around him, his own identity, which is increasingly falling apart?

In despair, he seeks medical help, but all efforts prove futile. Perhaps the key to the problem lies not in science, but in something irrational?

Together with his friend Gaspar, Ambroise embarks on a flight in a hot air balloon. The detachment from the ground will be a turning point in the hero's life, marking his liberation from the power of words and the shackles of the past.
