Latro finds himself caught up in a web of intrigues woven by both gods and mere mortals, each seeking their own advantage. Latro himself has a goal: he wants to know who he is and where he comes from, and to gain the long-awaited freedom.
With loyal friends, the warrior will travel to the very heart of Hellas: through Thrace, where warrior Amazons rule, to Athens and Sparta. He will have to participate in the Olympic Games and decide if he is willing to pay the price the gods will set for his liberation.
