Bloody Harvest in the Shaded Hollow

Welcome back to the Shaded Hollow! While the entire town prepares for its favorite Harvest Festival, brave journalist Vera Vixen is set to tackle the most challenging case of her career – the investigation of a rat's murder, which, judging by all accounts, is still very much alive.

Change is coming to the Shaded Hollow! After several successfully solved crimes, valiant detective Orville Brown has finally decided to run for chief of police. But this news takes a back seat when the silence of the neighboring town is shattered by the desperate scream of the rat Dorothy Springfield, known for her eccentricity and love of tall tales. She claims that her husband has been killed, yet… he stands right next to her.
While everyone thinks that Dorothy has finally lost her mind, Vera senses a scoop. Something about this story is definitely off. The only evidence is a sticky spot resembling blood on the hallway carpet. But things take a turn for the worse when a headless body is found in the woods… Could it be that Dorothy is right? Was her husband really murdered, and is she living with an impostor?
Armed with coffee and the wise advice of her friend Lenore, Vera sets out on a new investigation.
