What do Alexander the Great, Julius Caesar, Genghis Khan, Peter the Great, and Napoleon have in common, aside from being outstanding statesmen and talented military leaders? Perhaps it is that each of them experienced a period of incredible luck in their lives, when everything they conceived succeeded, and no one in the world stood a chance of stopping them? Was it a simple coincidence, or did such luck have some other explanation, inaccessible to mere mortals?
…Private detective Nadежда Lebedeva took a letter out of her mailbox in the morning. The message was not addressed to her, and instead of doing what everyone else would do — placing the wrong letter back in the mailbox — she decided to deliver it to the addressee herself. It would have been better if Nadежда hadn’t done that! Fate, the villainess, threw her another crime story, as if she knew that Nadежда wouldn’t be able to resist and walk past it. She had to deal with a mysterious murder, look for six bronze busts, and solve the mystery of the members of a mysterious mystical society…
