I erected a monument to myself not made by hands

The collection includes key lyrical works of A.S. Pushkin, studied in schools according to the curricula in high school, as well as fairy tales.

The poems required for memorization are presented — "Winter Morning", "Autumn", "Prisoner", "Liberty", "To the Nurse", "The Prophet" and others. Pushkin's lines make speech expressive, literate, and eloquent. 

The child unconsciously absorbs classical images, which raises the level of culture. Poetry teaches empathy for the heroes, to understand the motives of actions, to value friendship, love, and freedom.

It fosters empathy, critical thinking, and positive personal qualities.
