Wen Yifan is used to her measured life: she works as a journalist, rents a small room, and tries not to disturb anyone. All of this collapses when she has to move. Her new neighbor unexpectedly turns out to be San Yan – a former classmate with whom she shares unexpressed feelings and heavy memories.

San Yan remains just as cold and straightforward, but behind his sharpness, care increasingly shows through. During the day, Wen Yifan diligently maintains a distance between them, while at night, consumed by memories, she begins to sleepwalk and takes steps towards him.
