Table Game - The Last Straw

Many of us played with sticks in childhood. It's time to remember this glorious tradition, but in a slightly different way, combining the game... with an auction! Yes, here you will not only collect different straws but also place bids, striving to gather suitable ones.

In this unusual game, each participant receives a random straw from the box, and another one is placed in the center of the table — at an equal distance from all players. Everyone gets 50 victory points, and the game begins.

The goal of the game is to collect as many straws as possible, differing from each other in length by half a centimeter. Players take turns bidding victory points (from 1 to 10), and the winner of the auction spends points and takes the straw in hand. The trick is that until the moment of winning, you cannot try to match your existing straws to the one being auctioned! Well, technically you can, but only from afar. Also, on the points board, there are special divisions that return the player to a certain value (like ladders in "Snakes and Ladders"), allowing for larger bids.

As soon as someone collects eight straws or four identical ones (or spends all points), the game ends. Participants receive victory points — they choose one set of straws, differing from each other by 5 mm, and for each straw, they get 10 points. They add the remaining points from the board to the resulting sum, and the one who collects more wins!

But if someone manages to collect four identical ones — they win immediately!
