Hard days come to Lokhdub.
Priscilla Halberton-Smythe, the long-lost love of Constable Hamish MacBeth, returns to the village. And not alone, but with a new suitor! Lokhdub is attacked by an unbearable insect swarm, and new tenants move into one of the houses.
