Malusia and Rogoped

Marusya absolutely hated meeting new people. And that’s because she couldn't pronounce the sound "r." So when people asked her name, it came out as "Malusia." But one day she found herself in an extraordinary country created by the cunning Rogoped. In this country live menacing beetles and terrifying kysis, a mother washes a Llama, magical squashes grow on trees, and the king wears a column on his head. Now, to return to her world, Marusya and her new friends will have to learn to pronounce words correctly. This cheerful tale was written by the wonderful children's author Andrey Usachev, whose books have sold over 3,000,000 copies and have been translated into 15 languages. The bright, funny illustrations were created by the famous artist Yevgeny Antonenko.
