"Without Family" – a touching story about a homeless boy named Remy, sold for two pennies by his adoptive father to a wandering artist, and forced to wander through France in search of his real parents.
On Remy's journey, he faces many trials, hardships, and misfortunes. He is destined to suffer the loss of loved ones and betrayal. Will the boy be able to keep his spirit strong, find a family, true friends, and become happy?..
The story has been adapted into film several times. In 1984, a domestic film by Vladimir Bortko was released, and in 2000, a French film featuring Pierre Richard.
