Several years ago, detective lover Marzio Montecristo opened a small bookstore "Black Cats" in Sardinia. The name is a tribute to its two inhabitants, the black cats of Miss Marple and Poirot, who once appeared in the shop and never left. After closing, the book club "Detectives on Tuesdays" gathers here — a company of true connoisseurs of crimes and detective literature. They discuss the novel of the week and inadvertently find themselves caught up in real investigations: a year ago, club members even helped the police solve a real case. Now inspector Angela Dimas is once again turning to them for help.
Marzio Montecristo receives an invitation to a literary cruise — it seems that fate itself has given him a chance to save the store from bankruptcy. On board the liner, the famous author of detective stories Aristide Galeazzo intends to finish his last novel. The program includes fifteen ports, meetings with readers, presentations, debates — and... a carefully planned revenge. When the sea voyage is overshadowed by a murder, Marzio takes up the investigation again. However, solving the case is not so easy, as there are almost no clues, and all that two witnesses can say is "meow"...
