Not the Right Hands

The new novel about detective Declan Miller begins with a nightmarish discovery. A briefcase containing severed hands. It quickly becomes clear that this is a contract killing, and figuring out the client poses no special trouble. It’s a local mobster who most likely knows how Miller's wife Alex died. Yes, for Miller, the main goal is to find Alex's killer, and each new case he investigates helps him uncover what leads him to his goal.
