Russian Folk Tales

This book includes Russian folk tales that children read in elementary school – "The Goose and the Swan", "Sister Alyonushka and Brother Ivanushka", "About Emelya, or By the Pike's Wish" and others. The tales preserve and convey the folk wisdom, teach young readers to distinguish between good and evil, and illustrate, through the main characters, the importance of mutual help, bravery, and resourcefulness.
