Never stay in a remote country house with a mixed company of potential sociopaths… or members of a book club!
Ursula Smart may have had other plans for this long snowy weekend, but to her mother Pandora's great dismay, she decides to visit her book club in a secluded country house. Among the participants are her mother's best friend Mirabel, aunt Charlotte and Joy, as well as Bridget with her dog Mr. Trezvon.
It doesn't matter that they've already gathered three times this year to discuss "The Gone," this seclusion is their chance to escape the noisy city. But someone has other ideas.
A body is found near the mansion. So far, just one.
Did the killer sneak onto the property? Or is it someone from their group?
To solve the crime, they need to put aside their grievances and start acting.
After all, they really want to survive in the book club.
"How to Survive in a Book Club" is a biting, intricately crafted, darkly delightful cozy mystery, where problems come crashing down on the characters at the speed of an avalanche, and the characters themselves seem horrifyingly familiar to the reader — making it all the more interesting and dangerous to follow them.
