She was taken to an unfamiliar house and given a foreign name. They said she must speak, walk, and love. The old law of the emperor made her a faceless double of the viceroy's daughter of the West, whose only task is to save the life of the one who is more important, more valuable, richer, at the cost of her own freedom. She has only six months left until the end of her pretense, until her return to the Temple of the Western Dragon — the only place she can call home. Everything changes in an instant, the sky is covered with clouds, and the truths of the past turn out to be lies. Does she have any chance of freedom, or is the old goal insignificant in light of the revealed truth?
