In the ancestral estate of the Golitysn family, preparations are underway for the name day of the princess. However, the festive evening is overshadowed by a sinister divination, the predictions of which begin to come true with alarming accuracy. For the pupil of the Smolny Institute, Varya Vorontsova, coincidences do not exist. She is convinced that behind the curtain of mysticism lies a cold calculation. However, the deeper she immerses herself in the atmosphere of the ancient house, the more clearly she understands – the game is being played by much more dangerous rules than it seems at first glance.
