Dismantling

The central plot revolves around a young family: philologist Seda and architect Sarkis. In April 1991, they hopefully welcome the beginning of a new life - the birth of independent Armenia.

But as the Karabakh war, which began in 1989, continues, and the economic blockade persists, the family faces trials: hunger, political ruin, loss of loved ones.

A decade of independence turns into a nightmare. They betray each other, make mistakes, and move to different countries.

The last time the surviving family members come together will be in 20 years, to draw a line under the past.
