White Roses of Ravensburg

Germany, late 19th century. Death row. Young Baroness Marie von Ravensburg awaits execution for the murder of her husband — the king refused to pardon her. Her last plea is addressed to her brother, Ludwig von Erlenstein: the unfortunate woman asks him to take her little daughter into his care and raise her as his own child. The execution takes place.
Nineteen years pass. The young daughters of Count Erlenstein, Iris and Sigrid, lead an active social life. They have no shortage of admirers. One day, Count Marcel Hochwald appears at a reception.
