The Lady with a Biography

Lusya, the heroine of the novel, is beautiful, well-groomed, and aristocratic, but, alas, the so-called personal life is not for her. She has an elderly mother to take care of, a daughter who is a budding actress and also demands attention, as well as the unsuccessful husband of her daughter and his mother. Moreover, she has to manage a house, a garden, and work.
Once, in her early youth, Lusya had a crazy romance with a handsome actor, who became the father of her daughter. But the romance is long in the past, and in the present – there are duties and a sense of responsibility towards those who need her.
However, sooner or later, life gives everyone a chance to change everything. Whether we want to take that chance – that's the question.
