Priestess of Isis

The mid-70s A.D. A young Roman named Ombricius, who has valiantly fought in the war, arrives in Pompeii. The young man has found glory but has not found happiness. He even doubts whether true happiness exists. But life changes when Ombricius meets a mysterious girl - a priestess of the goddess Isis. Ombricius falls in love with the priestess, not yet knowing that she lives in two worlds - the real world and the world of spirits. In the other world, she already has a beloved who is not ready to tolerate a rival.
It is difficult for Ombricius to make the right decision. Additionally, a treacherous patrician woman, who worships Hecate - the goddess of darkness and gloom, lures the young man into her nets. And there is less and less time to choose a path. The priestess of Isis had already predicted the eruption of Mount Vesuvius during her first meeting with Ombricius, which will destroy the entire city, but it seems that no one attaches the proper importance to this prophecy.
