The Three Ages of Okin-san

At the center of the novel «The Three Ages of Okin-san» is the dramatic fate of Vladimir Kokovtsev, who made his way from midshipman to admiral of the Russian fleet. The writer guides his hero through a number of historical events — the Russo-Japanese and First World Wars, the February and October Revolutions, and shows the complex political situation in the Far East, where the interests of Russia, England, and Japan collided.
