Collections of contemporary drama for teenagers are an opportunity to introduce readers to the texts of new talented playwrights, who are currently shaping the image of Russian theater for the most complex and demanding category of viewers. This is the first experience of publishing contemporary teenage drama in the form of a printed collection. It is also a response to the request of directors who are looking for new texts and themes, as well as a fixation of teenage drama from 2010 to 2019, and interesting material for readers—among the playwrights are already well-known authors of teenage prose and laureates of literary awards, who now appear in the role of playwrights.
All the authors of the collection are participants and winners of dramaturgical laboratories and competitions. Many of the plays included in the collection are already being performed in theaters.
