Die Not to the End

Brighton and its satellite town Hove are engulfed in panic: a maniac has emerged who is hunting young women. The hallmark of this criminal is a World War II gas mask. Superintendent Grace thought he could no longer be surprised, but, as it turned out, that was completely in vain: nothing like this had ever been encountered in his extensive practice. The person suspected of the brutal murders is seen simultaneously in several places – just some kind of miracles in a sieve, according to Grace's boss. One cannot help but wonder: is the police hunting a ghost?
