Snow White

Beauty is a terrible force. And a motive for murder.

A Japanese proverb says: "If there is no news from a person, it means everything is fine with them." Such was the thought about Ms. Noriko, a brilliant employee of a large cosmetic company, who disappeared after a party. Her charred body, bearing the signs of more than ten stab wounds, was found in the woods two days later. Who could provoke such fierce hatred in such a charming beauty? Was it revenge from a rejected admirer or envy from colleagues?
Along with the police, journalist Yuji Akahoshi is investigating the case. His procedural interrogations unveil a whirlpool of cunning lies, old secrets, and betrayals, while the media is rife with premature accusations. An online community of amateur detectives is rapidly growing, investigating the "Snow White Murder Case" — they deduce the killer and make bets… But the truth shocks everyone.
