Letters from the Masters of Wisdom 1870-1888

In the second half of the 20th century, Helena Petrovna Blavatsky founded the Theosophical Society, which proclaimed as its motto: «There is no religion higher than Truth». The true inspirers and initiators of the Society were the Masters of Wisdom, who for the first time openly established a direct contact with the West.
The book includes letters from some of the Masters to their closest disciples and associates of the Theosophical Society during its formation in the 1870s and 1880s. At that time, the Society included the best representatives of the Western world and Eastern civilization; these were not only prominent social, cultural, and spiritual figures but also ordinary people. The book presents correspondence with English, German, American, and Indian theosophists.
This edition significantly complements the well-known book «The Letters of the Mahatmas» by A.P. Sinnett and reveals new aspects of the teachings of the Masters of Wisdom.
