London, 1889. The city's residents are afraid to leave their homes: at night, Jack the Ripper, a brutal maniac, rampages through the streets, eluding justice time and again.

Writer Milovan Glishich comes to the aid of the London police, but the true reason for his trip is different: he must find the kidnapped daughter of the Serbian king.

At the behest of Queen Victoria, the investigation is joined by Japanese emissary Yamagata, who holds in his memory pages from the second part of the Florentine Duplet, and the British Secret Service.
