The Best Dictations with Grammar Tasks. QR Code – Listen and Write. 2nd Grade

Dictation is one of the forms of teaching correct writing to consolidate skills and check students' knowledge. Depending on the main purpose of the assessment, dictations are classified as educational or control dictations. This manual includes the main types of educational dictations for the 2nd grade: spelling, selective, distribution, explanatory, as well as control dictations. The dictations are based on the main orthograms studied in the 2nd grade. For convenience, the manual includes rules for review before writing dictations and a detailed algorithm for phonetic analysis of the word and finding the main parts of the sentence. After each dictation, the child performs grammatical tasks. For self-checking, dictations are offered via QR code. For parents and educators, the manual provides a list of typical mistakes made by second graders in dictations.
