Death on a Summer Night

What if Romeo and Juliet had not died in the family crypt, but instead survived, got married, and had children? Rosalina, the eldest daughter of the Montague family, a "spinster" at twenty, is nothing like her romantic parents. Love seems to her a tedious occupation, and marriage a trap for fools. She is pursued by Duke Stefano, a debauched despot whose three previous wives died under mysterious circumstances. But right during the engagement celebration, the duke is found in the garden with a dagger in his chest.

Who killed the duke? Many believe that the bride herself had a motive. Will Rosie, possessing a sharp mind and indomitable spirit, be able to uncover this mystery?
