In the game "Kittens of Kyoto," from 2 to 4 players will take on the roles of kittens and explore the modern city of Kyoto, going through a series of independent and repeatable scenarios.
Based on a skill system, each player will interact with some of the residents of Kyoto, both animals and people. In each scenario, players will have to complete various missions: from befriending a schoolboy to fighting an aggressive stray cat or stealing food from another player's bowl.
Each turn will provide an opportunity to learn something new about the city as players reveal various elements, from small insects to specific objects or residents of Kyoto. Some of these elements are represented by cardboard tiles, while others will stand on a pedestal, providing a stunning visual effect.
Throughout the game, each player will develop by improving their skills and gaining the ability to explore new parts of the map, climbing through bushes and onto rooftops. With exciting mechanics, components, and design, the game will become an interesting experience for both beginners and experienced players.
